Piadina Dough
- 250g plain flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- pinch salt
- 50g butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- about 150-200ml water
Rub the butter into the flour.
Add the baking soda and salt.
Place in a mixer bowl with dough hook attachment.
Add the oil and half the water.
Work in water to make a dough and knead for 6 minutes.
- 100g fontina
- 125g salami
- oil for cooking
Divide the dough in 4.
Roll to 8inch diameter circle.
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and when hot add the dough.Cook until golden and flip.
Add ¼ salami and cheese and cook gently until the cheese melts.
Fold over, slice into bite size pieces and serve.
